Michael Shikashio

Michael Shikashio, CDBC, is the founder of AggressiveDog.com and focuses on teaching other professionals from around the world on how to successfully work aggression cases. He is a five-term president of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and was the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) Member of the Year in 2020. Michael is sought after for his expert opinion by numerous media outlets, including the New York Times, New York Post, Fox News, The List TV, Baltimore Sun, WebMD, Women’s Health Magazine, Real Simple Magazine, SiriusXM Radio, The Chronicle of the Dog, and Steve Dale’s Pet World. He also hosts the popular podcast show “The Bitey End of the Dog” where he chats with the foremost experts on dog aggression. Christina Young

Christina Young, BSc, CDBC, PCBC-A is a certified behavior consultant specializing in dog-to-dog aggression. She prides herself in creating humane, effective, practical, and fun training plans for her students. Continually looking to improve her skills, she hones her skills by keeping up to date on current science and methods. Before pursuing her dream of a career in dog training, Christina worked with youth and adults with disabilities. This experience refined her flexibility and adaptability as an instructor. With over 25 years of experience in dog training, Christina turned her focus entirely to her passion in 2016, founding her company, Positive Dog. Located in Nanaimo, British Columbia, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, competes in various dog sports, and has recently joined Search and Rescue.

Jessica Wheatcraft

Jessica Wheatcraft, CDBC is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, professional dog trainer, and speaker who has worked with thousands of dogs for over 18 years. She specializes in dog to dog leash reactivity cases, with an emphasis on understanding each dog as an individual and thinking outside of the box to implement the most effective, humane training solutions. She works with fellow dog professionals and pet parents from all over the world online, in addition to in person training and seminars. She lives in North Carolina and shares her life with her three dogs, Tilly, Scout and Finn, Mustang horse Waylon, and cat Reeves.

Amelie Martel

Amélie Martel, LLB, CPDT-KA boasts over a decade of experience in animal behavior. Her passion started as a volunteer back in 2011, at the Montreal SPCA. Committed to rehabilitating a special dog, she decided to deepen her knowledge and became a dog trainer alongside her legal studies. Amélie started her career in animal protection for the same organization and quickly became the Animal Welfare Director. Later, she led companion animal campaigns and the Animal Rehabilitation Centre at Humane Society International/Canada. Over the years, she has helped dogs rescued from the cruelest practices, including puppy mills, dog fighting rings, and the dog meat trade. While working for a non-profit, Amélie is still passionate about canine behavior and offers private consultations and workshops to the public and other canine behavior practitioners. Utilizing science-based training methods, she strives to enable guardians to build harmonious relationships with their companions.

Jacqueline Drake

Jacqueline (JQ) is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (IAABC) and graduate student with Virginia Tech. She is completing her Masters in Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare and working toward becoming an Associate Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist (ACAAB). Being both a practitioner and now researcher, Jacqueline has a unique perspective on dog behavior. Jacqueline specializes in dogs with chronic fear, anxiety, or stress that may lead to issues like reactivity and aggression. Her academic research focuses on both shelter and pet dog, behavior solutions. She has been in the animal behavior and welfare field since 2012 and has volunteered for numerous shelters and rescues in Michigan and Louisiana! Jacqueline is passionate about reward-based training and expanding public access to dog training information.

    Absolutely! We have found that there are limited resources out there to learn how to work with aggression in dogs. That is why we created this course! It is designed to be helpful no matter where you are in your dog training journey.

  • How long do I have to take the course and how long does it typically take to finish?

    You can take the course at your own pace and have two full years of access.
